Tin Miners Of the 19th Century in Cornwall Board Game BASE and the EXPANSIONS: Emigration & Arsenic Market Bundle With Random Color Drawstring Bag Plus 13 COMPATIBLES Wood Tokens Upgraded and Painted
Alley Cat Game - Tinners' Trail is a game of economic strategy.
There's certainly a lot of tactical thought that goes into it, as you decide how to spend your time, what to pay for mines, when to expend time to reduce mining costs and when not to. However, one of its most interesting elements is the pure strategic choice of whether to seek immediate gratification or to instead work on long-term growth (through the purchase of new mines and the acquisition of improvements). The economic model is overall a nice one.
Cornwall, the most southwestern tip of England, takes center stage on this game board. It is divided into a number of areas that will mostly feature hidden tiles containing the mining potential. Various player counts reveal certain mines during setup. Based on these varying levels of knowledge, players will auction areas in order to earn the right to extract precious copper and tin to sell in the fluctuating market.
The Tinners' Trail Expansions: Arsenic Market & Emigration bring 20 Miners, 8 Emigration Tokens, 1Emigration board, 1 Market board, 5 calciners, 25 Arsenic cubes and 5 Work Tracks.
